Southern Region
Damascus and its countryside:
Artillery Battalion of al-Rahman Legion targeted several regime locations in Jobar of Damascus using homemade launchers. Meanwhile, al-Islam Army destroyed a regime tank and a bulldozer after it blew up a regime base by booby-trapping a tunnel underneath it killing and injuring dozens of regime soldiers. In al-Zabadani of Damascus countryside, 45 regime vehicles carrying regime troops and ammunition were spotted leaving the outskirts of al-Zabadani heading towards Darayya and eastern Ghouta.
Al-Quneitra:
Southern Front Factions of the FSA announced starting the third phase of the battle of “Wa Bashir al-Sabireen” in al-Quneitra countryside aiming at liberating al-Qabea hill near the liberated al-Ahmar hill. Within the first hours of the battle, the FSA captured the hill killing a number of regime soldiers, and destroying several vehicles including a tank. The first phase of the battle started late last month aiming at taking over several points on the outskirts of regime’s Brigade 90 to open the road towards western Ghouta of Damascus. In the meantime, FSA battalions targeted regime premises in Khan Arnabeh and al-Ba’ath cities using mortars achieving direct hits.
Central Region
Homs:
Ahrar al-Sham Movement announced assassinating regime’s colonel Hassan Mahmoud Issa along with three of his guards in Homs city. The Movement targeted the colonel’s car with an IED that was planted in the pro-regime Wadi al-Zahab neighborhood in Homs city. The colonel used to serve in the Third Legion and was in charge of most of the checkpoints in Homs. He was also the right hand of Saqer Rustom, the head of the Popular Committees and the National Defense Militias in Homs. In the meantime, Homs Liberation Movement of the FSA targeted regime and Shabiha locations at al-Rastan front using Jahannam launchers inflicting losses among regime’s ranks. Additionally, clashes between both sides were reported at Homs northern countryside fronts.
Hama:
Suqour al-Ghab Gathering of the FSA destroyed a regime tank at al-Sawamea front on the outskirts of Kaferbanudeh town. It destroyed another tank and a 23 mm gun at al-Mugheir front using TOW missiles. Meanwhile, al-Sham Front of the FSA targeted regime and pro-regime militias’ locations at al-Mugheir checkpoint with 120 mm mortars destroying several regime vehicles and killing a number of regime soldiers. In addition, the Islamic Union of Ajnad al-Sham used medium and heavy weapons to target regime bases in Ma’an village. Meanwhile, FSA fighters targeted regime and pro-regime militants positioned at al-Madajen checkpoint with Gvozdika machine guns. They also destroyed a regime tank at Um Hartain front, and two others at Atshan front before retreating from both areas due to Russian airstrikes.
Lattakia:
FSA factions regained the strategic hills of al-Jibb al-Ahmar on Mount al-Akrad after regime forces supported by Russian airstrikes managed to capture them yesterday. Many regime soldiers were killed or wounded during the clashes. Fierce clashes broke out between both sides at the frontline stretching over the areas of Hasiko, Kafer Ajouz, Kafer Dilbeh, Tirtyah, Ain Samour, Ain al-Jouzeh, Smakofi, Jibb al-Ahmar and Marksheleh amid regime artillery shelling and Russian airstrikes. Additionally, the First Coastal Division of the FSA, along with Ansar al-Sham Battalions of the Islamic Front, targeted regime locations in Kitif al-Jaltah, Doreen, Birj Barouseh and al-Nabi Yunus hilltop using mortars, artillery, and Jahannam launchers. Meanwhile, regime forces retreated from Kafer Dilbeh after many of them were killed due to FSA shelling.
Northern Region
Aleppo:
Fastaqim Kama Umert Gathering of the FSA operating within Aleppo Liberation Operations Room destroyed a building housing regime troops at Karm al-Tarrab front in the city using homemade Saqer 1 guns. In the meantime, Nour Eddin Zinki Movement destroyed regime and pro-regime fortifications at Handarat front in the northern countryside using missiles.
