Damascus and its countryside Fighters from the First Brigade of the FSA destroyed a regime 14.5 mm machine gun positioned at regime’s Special Forces HQ in al-Qaboun neighbourhood using an RPG shell. In the meantime, violent clashes took place between al-Rahman Legion and regime forces at Taibeh front in Jobar while clashes were reported between the FSA and Assad troops supported by pro-regime National Defence militias in Nisreen Street in al-Tadamoun neighbourhood. In Damascus countryside, al-Islam Army used artillery and rockets to bomb Assad forces positioned at the mountains surrounding the city of Douma leaving 15 soldiers killed. Revolutionary forces in eastern Ghouta thwarted regime’s struggle to advance towards al-Wafideen camp, Tal Kurdy and Hawsh al-Fara areas while ten Assad soldiers were reportedly killed after al-Islam Army destroyed a regime troop carrier on the outskirts of eastern Ghouta Mountains. Moreover, al-Islam Army downed a regime aircraft flying over eastern Ghouta using anti-aircraft machine guns.
Al-Quneitra Southern Front factions of the FSA captured regime’s Ain al-Nouria checkpoint near al-Ahmar hill in the northern countryside after Assad troops withdrew from the area. In addition, the factions used heavy artillery to bomb regime forces based at the “UN” hill achieving direct hits.
Daraa Violent clashes took place between the FSA and Assad troops on the outskirts of the city of Daraa and in the towns of Ataman, Kafernasej, and Zimreen. FSA forces mortared Assad militias positioned in regime’s al-Maftara, al-Sarou, Khirbet Ghazal, al-Sha’ar and Qarin checkpoints.
Central Region Homs Ahrar al-Sham Movement targeted pro-regime militias based at al-Shina front to the west of al-Houleh using mortars and medium machine guns while sporadic clashes broke out between the two sides in different areas of the northern countryside.
Hama Al-Naser Army used 120 mm mortars and artillery to bomb regime and pro-regime Shabiha militias’ bases in the city of Mourek and destroyed a regime depot in the area. Meanwhile, a number of regime soldiers were killed in the explosion of an IED on the Hama-al-Salamiyeh road. Moreover, Ajnad al-Sham forces fired Katyusha missiles at a regime checkpoint near the poultry farms in the city of Taibet al-Imam.
Aleppo Sultan Murad Brigade of the FSA dismantled a car bomb that was parked near one of its bases in Aleppo. In the meantime, Nour Eddin al-Zinki Movement used attacked regime forces positioned at Menian front using heavy machine guns. Al-Shamia Front fighters used SPG-9 guns to attack regime and pro-regime Shabiha militias positioned in al-Nairab military airport keaving three soldiers killed. Moreover, the Front foiled an attempt by regime troops to infiltrate into the industrial zone in Sheikh Najjar neighbourhood leaving at least two of Assad soldiers killed.
The FSA of the Southern Front gained full control al-Ahmar hill near Khan Arnabeh following fierce battles against Assad forces within the battle of Wa Bashir al-Sabireen it launched several days ago. Meanwhile, Southern Front Factions of the FSA targeted regime premises in al-Ba’ath City, Khan Arnabeh, Tal Bazaq, and Tal al-Sha’ar in the middle sector using artillery and mortars achieving direct hits.
Clashes broke out between al-Tawheed Army and regime forces backed by Shabiha and Hezbollah militias at the southern front of Talbiseh city. Additionally, a number of regime militants were killed and five regime vehicles were destroyed following an ambush by Ahrar al-Sham Movement near Snede village on Homs-Salamiyeh road. The Movement also targeted regime premises in the villages of Qirmis and Maryameen west of al-Houleh using mortars and heavy machine guns. In the meantime, Homs Liberation Movement of the FSA in collaboration with military factions operating in Aqrab town foiled regime forces’ attempt to storm the town amid Russian airstrikes and regime artillery shelling.
Suqour al-Ghab Gathering of the FSA announced targeting regime and Shabiha locations in Mourek city and Tal al-Hammamiyat in the northern countryside using heavy artillery. It also targeted a building housing Russian, Iranian and Syrian experts at al-Masharea’ checkpoint killing and wounding many of them.
Ahrar al-Sham Movement fired more than fifty Grad missiles at Hmeheem airport where Russian forces are positioned in Jableh city. According to the Movement, thirteen vehicles loaded with casualties and injured fighters were spotted leaving the airport after the HQ inside the airport was hit.
Aleppo: Aleppo Liberation Operations Room captured a building housing regime troops in al-Safa area in Karm al-Jabal neighborhood following clashes that left several regime soldiers killed. In the meantime, Division 16 of the FSA operating within Aleppo Liberation Operations Room targeted regime fortifications at al-Ashrafiyeh front using SPG-9 guns. It also targeted Shabiha locations in the neighborhood using Jahannam launchers achieving direct hits. Meanwhile, Nour Eddin Zinki Movement mortared regime locations at al-Ramousah front. Eastern Region Al-Raqqa: A group of al-Raqqa elderly dignitaries announced forming al-Asha’er Army (The Tribal Army) to battle the regime and ISIS in al-Raqqa. The commander of the Army in Tal Abyad, Abeid Khalil al-Khalaf al-Hassan, said that “the Army is formed of 2,000 fighters from Tal Abyad, and they are equipped with light and medium weapons. The fighters are positioned alongside Thuwar al-Raqqa Brigade fighters at the northern countryside fronts to battle ISIS”. Thuwar al-Raqqa Brigade commander Abu Issa said that “al-Asha’er Army is affiliated with the Brigade and its task is to support it.” The commander also confirmed that the Army is not funded by external parties.
Deir Ezzour ISIS cordoned al-Sukkariyeh area west of al-Bukamal city in the eastern countryside, and erected checkpoints inside it. It also executed Hamad al-Raja al-Mashahadani, commander of Ahrar al-Mashahdeh Brigade of the FSA, after one year of detention.
Russian air strikes
Idlib: Two Russian air strikes targeted the town of Madarjana on the outskirts of Ihsim city in Idlib countryside wounding a number of civilians. The first air strike killed a number of civilians, according to RFS Media Office correspondent. The second one targeted the same area as medical teams were trying to rescue the wounded which caused more injuries and casualties among civilians and paramedics. Our reporter confirmed the death of eleven people so far, including nine family members, a Civil Defense worker and a volunteer paramedic.
Lattakia: Russian air strikes carried out a large number of air strikes on the villages and towns of Lattakia countryside today, according to RFS Media Office correspondent in the area. The air strikes targeted FSA-controlled villages of Khan al-Jouz and al-Birnas, in addition to several areas on Mounts al-Turkman and al-Akrad. The FSA used anti-aircraft machine guns in an attempt to stop these airstrikes. Our correspondent added that the Russian warplanes also targeted Médecins Sans Frontières hospital in Lattakia countryside which hospitalizes civilians and displaced people. In each Russian air strike two warplanes fly together targeting civilian in the area, however, no civilian injuries have been reported today so far.

The FSA at the southern front foiled regime forces’ attempt to infiltrate into al-Amal farms following fierce clashes leaving losses among regime’s rank.
Al-Tawheed Army of the FSA targeted regime and Shabiha locations in Homs city and its northern countryside using SK-5 rocket launchers, mortars and Grad missiles.
Al-Izza Gathering of the FSA announced destroying a regime 14.5 gun positioned at Tal Milh checkpoint in the northern countryside using a TOW missile. Additionally, several regime soldiers were killed following an ambush by revolutionaries between Ghara and Abdulaziz hills in the eastern countryside.
The First Coastal Division of the FSA targeted regime and Shabiha locations in Jibb al-Ghar on al-Nabi Yunus hilltop using artillery. In the meantime, opposition factions at the coast fired Grad missiles at the regime’s Hmeheem airport in Jableh city where the Russian forces are positioned.
Aleppo: The First Regiment of the FSA targeted regime premises at Karm al-Tarrab front in the city using Jahannam launchers destroying regime fortifications. Meanwhile, al-Shamia Front of Aleppo Liberation Operations Room mortared ISIS locations on the outskirts of Harbel village achieving direct hits.
